A new technique for Microsoft 365 Copilot has been disclosed, allowing hidden prompts in Word documents to rewrite figures in reports and copy the same instructions into the finished file. This method was revealed by Håkon Måløy on July 28, 144 days after reporting it to Microsoft. The internally generated file triggered the same behavior in a second Copilot drafting session.
