A 26-year-old Canadian man has pleaded guilty to hacking and extorting more than 165 organizations that used the cloud storage provider Snowflake. He also admitted to stealing call and text history records of over 100 million AT&T customers. This case has been described as one of the most consequential cybercrime threats of 2024.
