DeepMind's WeatherNext Cyclones predicts paths, intensities, and wind structures, achieving the same accuracy for three-day forecasts as previously used for two-day forecasts. This enhancement allows for 24 hours of additional preparation time. The system learns from global weather dynamics and about 5,000 storm observation records to improve its performance.
