Tailscale은 패킷 메모리 처리와 병렬 처리 개선을 통해 앱 커넥터, 서브넷 라우터, 출구 노드의 처리량을 증가시키고 지연을 줄이는 작업을 진행 중입니다. 특히 Linux와 Android에서는 작은 패킷을 별도의 버퍼로 복사하지 않고 수신 버퍼에서 직접 처리하여 성능을 향상시키고 있습니다. 이러한 개선 사항은 다양한 네트워크 구성에서 약 5%의 성능 향상을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

Tailscale is working on improving packet memory processing and parallel processing to increase throughput and reduce latency for app connectors, subnet routers, and exit nodes. Notably, on Linux and Android, small packets are processed directly within the receive buffer, avoiding the need for separate buffer copies. These improvements aim for around a 5% performance boost across various network configurations.
