Linear demonstrated how to improve CI bottleneck issues by increasing the number of tests nearly fourfold while reducing wait times from over 6 minutes to about 5 minutes. This was achieved by switching to a faster execution environment and the native TypeScript compiler tsgo. They also minimized unnecessary linting, which halved the runner usage time per test.
