IBM has introduced a new prototype chip featuring around 100 billion transistors on a surface area the size of a fingernail. This represents twice the density of the company's previous cutting-edge technology from 2021. The innovation is expected to lead to faster and more energy-efficient computers in the coming years, potentially paving the way for the extension of Moore’s Law.
