A vulnerability in cPanel is being exploited to target government and MSP networks.

A previously unknown threat actor is exploiting a recently disclosed vulnerability in cPanel to attack government and military entities in Southeast Asia. Additionally, a smaller group of managed service providers (MSPs) and hosting providers in the Philippines, Laos, Canada, South Africa, and the U.S. are also being targeted. Detected by Ctrl-Alt-Intel on May 2, 2026, this activity poses a significant security threat.
