Rust의 새로운 프로젝트가 이동 불가 타입과 소멸자 실행 보장을 목표로 한다.

2026~2027년 동안 Rust는 타입이 이동과 망각을 거부할 수 있도록 하는 새로운 프로젝트를 승인하였다. 이 프로젝트는 mem::forget을 사용한 소멸자 실행 없이 잊혀지는 것을 방지하는 방향으로 진행된다. 새로운 자동 트레이트인 Move, Destruct, Forget 또한 도입될 예정이다.
