Feds Disrupt IoT Botnets Behind Huge DDoS Attacks

미국 법무부가 IoT 봇넷을 해체하여 DDoS 공격을 방지했다.

미국 법무부가 캐나다 및 독일 당국과 협력하여 300만 대 이상의 해킹된 IoT 기기를 타겟으로 한 4개의 주요 봇넷을 해체했다. 이들 봇넷, 즉 Aisuru, Kimwolf, JackSkid, Mossad는 최근 기록적인 분산 서비스 거부(DDoS) 공격을 주도했다. 이를 통해 거의 모든 대상이 오프라인으로 전환될 수 있는 위험을 초래했다.

U.S. authorities dismantled IoT botnets responsible for significant DDoS attacks.

The U.S. Justice Department, along with authorities in Canada and Germany, dismantled the infrastructure behind four major botnets that compromised over three million hacked IoT devices. These botnets, named Aisuru, Kimwolf, JackSkid, and Mossad, were responsible for a series of record-setting distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. This disruption helps prevent potential offline risks to a wide range of targets.
