사이버 보안 연구자들이 아시아 정부 및 방위 분야를 타겟으로 하는 새로운 중국 연계의 간첩 캠페인에 대한 정보를 공개했다. 이 활동은 트렌드 마이크로가 SHADOW-EARTH-053이라는 임시 이름으로 추적하는 위협 활동 클러스터에 기인한 것으로 평가되고 있다. 이 캠페인은 동남아시아 및 NATO 소속 유럽 정부도 포함된다.

Cybersecurity researchers disclosed details of an espionage campaign linked to China, targeting government and defense sectors in South, East, and Southeast Asia, as well as a European NATO government. This activity has been attributed to a threat cluster tracked by Trend Micro under the designation SHADOW-EARTH-053. The campaign poses significant risks to national security and international relations.
