The process of addressing the vertical stripes found in the gray-scale images of the Xteink X3 e-reader involved adjusting the screen drive waveform. Additionally, by investigating CrossPoint and freeink-sdk, errors related to gray-scale processing in the image viewer and to dark grays being displayed as black were also corrected.
