Cloudflare has implemented a system called Precursor to analyze whole user journeys to detect automation, as distinguishing automated behaviors at individual checkpoints like login and payment has become challenging. The system dynamically inserts lightweight JavaScript into HTML responses to monitor user activities such as pointer movement and keyboard input, focusing on identifying automation effectively.
