Roc 컴파일러가 기존의 Rust 코드를 Zig로 재작성하는 작업을 진행 중입니다. 약 30만 줄의 코드를 Zig로 변환하였고, 487일 만에 기능 동등성을 달성하였습니다. 새로운 컴파일러는 핫 코드 로딩, 재현 가능한 크로스 컴파일 등의 기능을 제공합니다. 올해 후반에는 정식 버전 0.1.0 출시를 목표로 하고 있습니다.

The Roc compiler is undergoing a rewrite from Rust to Zig to address structural issues in the previous implementation. After converting approximately 300,000 lines of code to Zig, they achieved feature parity in 487 days. The new compiler provides features like hot code loading and reproducible cross-compilation. They aim to release the first official version 0.1.0 later this year.
