삼성전자는 2027년 HBM4 계열의 생산량이 2026년 대비 두 배 이상 증가할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 이는 6세대 HBM4와 7세대 HBM4E를 포함하며, 반도체 업계 소식통에 따르면 유리 캐리어 외주 세정 물량을 월 2만 장에서 5만 장으로 늘릴 계획이다. 이러한 생산 확대는 삼성전자의 전략적인 대응으로 보인다.

Samsung Electronics is projected to more than double its production of HBM4 series DRAM by 2027 compared to 2026. This includes the 6th generation HBM4 and the 7th generation HBM4E. According to industry sources, there are plans to increase the outsourced cleaning volume of glass carriers from 20,000 to 50,000 units per month, indicating the basis for this production expansion.
