GitLab 19.2 adds AI agents for automating security review processes.
GitLab released version 19.2 of its DevSecOps platform on July 16, 2026. This version introduces agentic automation to address the security review backlog created by increased AI code generation. It brings four features out of beta or into public beta: Dependency Scanning Auto-Remediation, Security Review Flow, GitLab Duo CLI, and Custom Flows.
