New standard Android APIs added in Android 17 QPR1 are currently available only on Pixel devices. They are expected to be released for AOSP and other manufacturers in December 2026 as part of QPR2. According to GrapheneOS, some essential security patches for the standard Android platform are also being provided for devices outside of Pixel.
