UPI 결제는 QR 코드 스캔에서 완료 알림까지 2~3초가 걸리지만, 실제로는 여러 주체가 협력하여 처리됩니다. 앱, 스폰서 은행, NPCI 중앙 스위치, 송금 및 수취 은행 등 서로 분리된 주체가 요청과 응답을 릴레이하는 구조입니다. 또한, PhonePe나 Google Pay와 같은 앱은 결제 의도만 수집할 뿐, 돈이나 PIN을 직접 다루지 않습니다.
