More than 250 macOS ClickFix domains now employ browser fingerprinting to determine whether to show visitors a malware lure. This technique was tracked by Microsoft's Threat Intelligence, which observed the infrastructure for weeks. The server-side gate conceals the malicious page from crawlers and sandboxes while presenting selected Mac users with a fake software download.
