A new HIV vaccine shows unprecedented immune response in preclinical research.

Developed by LJI, Scripps Research, and IAVI, a new HIV vaccine has induced a large number of rare broadly neutralizing antibodies in preclinical studies. It recorded the strongest HIV antibody response yet in primate models. The vaccine also addresses the challenge of HIV disguising itself and rapidly mutating during the infection process, promoting desired antibody formation starting from early B cells.
