In Poland, hackers infiltrated a combined heat and power plant's control systems via a private cellular network, shutting down a steam turbine and the water treatment system. The plant serves approximately 50,000 residents. Recovery efforts began at around 7:30 a.m. while the intruders were still active within the network, but customers did not experience any loss of heat.
