AI is changing the landscape of cyberattacks, particularly by allowing failed attempts to be easily and cheaply retried. For instance, if an attacker targets a low-privilege cloud account and their first privilege escalation attempt fails, it used to require significant effort to document that failure, but AI enables much simpler repeat attempts.
