The 4B small model was trained to significantly enhance the processing speed for SQL queries with many joins. It achieved a geometric mean speedup of 1.81 times and reduced total execution time by 44.7% compared to Postgres's default execution plans. This was accomplished through the optimization of join orders and scan methods using pg_hint_plan.
