PlanetScale은 자사의 Postgres와 Neki 데이터베이스에서 사용할 수 있는 전문 검색 확장 TIN(Text INdex)을 정식 출시했다고 발표했다. TIN은 키워드 조합, 구문 검색, 퍼지, 와일드카드 및 정규식 매칭을 지원하며, BM25 기반의 관련도 순위를 제공한다. 사용자는 SQL을 통해 정확한 검색 결과 개수를 조회할 수 있다.

PlanetScale announced the official launch of TIN (Text INdex), a specialized search extension available for its Postgres and Neki databases. TIN supports keyword combinations, phrase searches, fuzzy, wildcard, and regex matches. It provides relevance ranking based on BM25 and allows users to query the exact number of search results via SQL.
