AWS has announced the general availability of the AWS MCP Server. This managed remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server provides AI agents and coding assistants with secure, authenticated access to all AWS services. The AWS MCP Server is part of the Agent Toolkit for AWS, which includes tools and plugins that help coding agents build more effectively and efficiently on AWS.
