Lyft has transitioned hundreds of production Flink jobs from an in-house Kubernetes operator developed in 2020 to the Apache Flink Kubernetes Operator. This migration enables last-state upgrades, in-place autoscaling, and resource autotuning across their streaming fleet. The shift is expected to enhance the efficiency of Lyft's data streaming operations.
